In 2007 Brad Pitt announced the Make It Right Foundation which was created to rebuild the lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. The Make It Right Foundation has set a goal of building 150 homes by 2011, and all of the homes will be built with a high emphasis on sustainability. Part of the sustainability of this project is integrating solar PV into each dwelling.
